Explore Solidarity where the story unfolded

A visit to Gdańsk can open a much wider conversation about Poland, freedom and life under communism. I’m Tomasz Kujawski. On a private history tour, I use the places around us to connect the story of Solidarity with the people and questions behind it.

The shipyard as a starting point

The Gdańsk shipyard and its historic gate offer a setting for discussing workers, protest and political change. We can explore how local experiences connect to the wider history of Poland. Let me know whether you would like an introduction or a discussion built around your existing interests.

History with room for your questions

You might be curious about daily life under communism, the meaning of Solidarity or the changes that followed. Rather than treating history as a list of dates, we can follow the themes you want to understand. Tours are available in English.

Plan your private Solidarity tour

Send your preferred date, group size and the time you have available. If you would like a museum visit, mention it in your enquiry so we can discuss feasibility, opening arrangements, tickets and how it would fit the route. No admission tickets or particular stops are included unless confirmed in our agreed programme.

Let’s start with a hello.

Write directly to me at oczymmarzysz@icloud.com. Your route, arrangements and price will be confirmed before booking.
